Dr Gulshan Rai has reportedly told a reporter that four blogspot sites were sought to be blocked. These are:
http://exposingtheleft.blogspot.com
http://commonfolk.blogspot.com
http:/commonense.blogspot.com
http://princesskimberley.logspot.com [spelling dispute here]
The blockade order to the ISPs was signed by DoT Asst. Director General, Shri K Haridhasa Pavalan. His office phone is 23036165 and the fax is 23359454 (Delhi numbers). I am sure a lot of bloggers have a lot of queries for him.
Have a nice day, keep exposng the left and sleep with Princess Kimberley tonight. Common folks are not expected to have common sense anyway.
Sorry, the comment form is closed at this time.
[...] Blogger Shivam Vij berichtet, das vier bei blogspot gehostete Seiten nun offiziell als die genannt wurden, die man blocken wollte. Wenn das so ist, scheint die übers-ziel-hinausschiessen-Theorie zu stimmen. [...]

I tried to visit these blogs. Exposing the Left seems to be concerned with US politics and Princess Kimberley and Commonsense are empty. So, I can’t see why anyone would want to block them. It may be the case that the leak is inspired and these blogs are honeytraps set up by the govt.

AnonEcon: No idea. princesskimberley may be princesskimberly.blogspot.com. It’s an American teenager’s rant on being depressed.

[...] 8.[Update] The government is engaged in a war with “common sense”. No I do not say that figuratively. According to Shivam, one of the blogspot blogs that reportedly made it onto the government’s list is http:/commonense.blogspot.com. The said blog, whose title is the somewhat apt “Common Sense for Dummies” has only post, dated May 20, 2004 that says: Why commonense? “Common-sense” and “common sense”, the common-sense alternatives for a common-sense blog, are already taken. The Princess Kimberley blog actually had some inflammatory matter. She actually advertised her post Infidel Puppies vs. Quran Woof in - what I felt like a hate blog called My Pet Jawa and can be found in its archives here.
However, since My Pet Jawa is also blocked by Indian ISPs, you can’t access it directly. So what do you do? Well, take the help of Google’s cache! Here is the link.
Also check this out and don’t miss the comments there.

Kimberly might be elsewhere in the aether by now if not blogging at her old site. When I found her some months ago she had a number of anti-jihadi graphics posted, one of which I used at no dhimmitude.
While I’m here, we at no dhimmitude have followed as welll as we can the recent bombings at Mumbai, and we have invited Hinuds and other Indian people to join us at our weekly meetings at the Vancouver, Canada public library in the atrium this Thursday evening from 7-9:00 pm. For further info, please check our recent posts or search Blue Revolution No Dhimmitude.
If you are concerned about jihad and fascist Islam, please leave a comment for us, and we’ll join you in that discussion.
Regards, Dag.

too to just move the old stuff to other servers - if anyone wants to spread hate speech they’re going to do it anyway. The only thing achieved by the ban was bringing these blogs to our notice. Speaking of which, as I gleaned from the comments on Shivam Vij’s blog, it seems Princess Kimberley did in fact have some rather rotten anti-Islamic matter on her site. Now this kind of stuff doesn’t interest me - not because I’m a Goody-Two Shoes Respecter of Religions - but because it seems like such a waste

but thinks nothing of shafting us when they please? That holds us in contempt for seeking to understand why? Why? Why should we let you get away with this? On what basis did you conjure up that list? We looked at the sites you hid from us. We laughed at some, scratched our heads in puzzlement at others. What was so repulsive about them? The people who ran those sites came to talk to us. They were civil. They were puzzled too. We listened as they explained what they understood.
